The beauty of a powder mask is that you make it fresh — no preservatives, no waste. But the mix matters.
The ratio
Start with 1 teaspoon of powder. Add water (or rosewater) a few drops at a time, stirring with a small spoon, until you get a smooth paste that holds on the back of the spoon — about the texture of yoghurt.
Tips
Use a non-metal bowl for clay masks. Apply to clean skin, avoid the eye area, and rinse before it cracks. For extra glow, swap water for milk or rosewater.
